Informal horse therapy for abused or disabled children and adults
These big horses, with their gentle slow natures, are very good for inspiring healing in people and the four C’s (conservation, confidence, courage and compassion) come into play here. Horses have the same breadth and depth of emotion as a human being and their unspoken language is emotion so they are natural empaths and reach us at a subconscious level. We have had excellent results with people over the years and in particular with children with ADHD syndrome and the Autistic spectrum. Women, men and children, who have had emotional trauma benefit greatly from the horses and learn to love and trust again.
